Mzizi School ERP Gives Back to Karatina School for the Mentally Challenged
School ERP, a leading provider of educational technology solutions, concluded its Customer Service Week by giving back to the community. The company's team, led by CEO Lewis K. Njoroge, traveled to Karatina School for the Mentally Challenged in Kiambu County to make a positive impact on the school.
The school, which serves students with mental disabilities, was facing challenges due to its teachers' overwhelming workload. To address this, Mzizi provided a free year-long Mzizi ERP license to streamline school operations and enable teachers to focus on building stronger connections with their students.
In addition, Mzizi offered free digital literacy training to the school's staff, equipping them with the skills to navigate and utilize technology effectively. The company also donated a projector and screen to enhance the learning experience for the students.
“We believe that these contributions will help Karatina School for the Mentally Challenged grow and innovate,” said Lewis Njoroge, CEO of Mzizi School ERP. “By leveraging technology, the school can create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for its students.”
The school's parish minister, Loyce Musyoka, expressed gratitude for Mzizi's support. "So far, the Lord has done great things for our school," she said. "Most of our students rely on donations, and Mzizi's contributions will make a significant difference."
Kamau, a member of the school's Board of Management, emphasized the importance of inclusivity and highlighted that disability does not equate to inability. "Everyone learns differently," he said. "With the right tools and support, students with disabilities can achieve great things."
Karatina School for the Mentally Challenged is now part of the Mzizi School ERP family, and the company is committed to guiding the school through its journey in adopting educational technology.
